Volcana

Volcana is a minor character in the Harley Quinn animated series. She is a pyrokinetic supervillainess and a member of the Legion of Doom.

Appearance[]

Volcana has light skin, dark black eyes and long, curly, tailbone-length, bright orange-red hair. For makeup, She wears red lipstick and purple eyeshadow. She is dressed in a skin tight black and red body-suit with red gloves and wears large gold hoop-earrings and she has a beauty mark.

Volcana was sat in the back during a briefing by their boss Poison Ivy at the Legion of Doom when Ivy asked her to switch seats with Firefly after he questioned her plan. Volcana excitedly thanked her and marveled at how much bigger and brighter everything seemed in the front. Due to her nervousness she ended up throwing up fire, burning a hole in the table which she hurriedly tried to put out while apologizing profusely. Her antics was mostly ignored and as Ivy complained about Mayor Joker not approving her tree removal permits Volcana proclaimed she would gladly burn him alive for her.

"Getting Ice Dick, Don't Wait Up"[]

Volcana is introduced alongside her fellow mentees Terra and Tefé to Gordon by Nora at the LOD. They attend a meeting with their mentor, Ivy, who gifts them shirts that say "Natural Disasters" with a basketball logo in the center, which Ivy could not remove from the design template. She then has the mentees talk about their individual evil plans, and Volcana wants to reawaken dormant volcanos underneath Gotham. Ivy loves the ideas and suggests they work on combining their ideas, which then she's pulled away by her new PR team, The Jons.

That night, Gordon tries to coax Ivy's mentees to join him for drinks, but they reject him, and Volcana sets Gordon's crotch on fire, making her and her fellow mentees laugh at Gordon's expense.

On the night of Ivy's statue unveiling, Terra and the others approach Ivy and inform her that their plan to collaborate on a socially conscious evil plan has failed. They wanted Ivy to assist them with her guidance, but she was too caught up in the glory of her new statue unveiling. One of the Jons then gifts them a signed copy of Ivy's new book as a present.

"Metamorphosis"[]

Volcana and her fellow mentees meet with Ivy in the LOD underground parking lot. They make up with Ivy and agree to help her take down the Jons. The mentees are later seen standing outside the LOD meeting room, giving her the thumbs up after she meets with the Jons.

When Harley approaches Ivy to ask her if she or any of the LOD members were involved with Nightwing's death, Ivy denies any involvement, but praises if any of her LOD members did. She then leaves with her mentees to do the pageant show, which Ivy crashes, and Volcana poses as a news reporter to ask Ivy if any of the pageant children have a chance to be special, which Ivy denies.

The enraged Jons merge into a giant entity, and Ivy allows the Natural Disasters to attack Giant Jon. Volcana uses power to scorch Giant Jon's face and rescues Terra from falling to her death after Giant Jon destroys the Ivy statue she was manipulating.

Later, Volcana is seen standing by Ivy and their fellow mentees as Ivy talks to Talia al Ghul.

"The Most Culturally Impactful Film Franchise of All Time"[]

For the next big plan with their mentor Ivy, the Natural Disasters assist Ivy in stealing the Legion of Superheroes Time Sphere.

Eventually, the Natural Disasters steal it and have Superman and Wonder Woman try and stop them while Harley joins in to assist the superheroes.

"Il Buffone"[]

Walking through the LOD with Lex, she tells him of her evil plan involving volcanos until Nora pulls her away.

She is later found underneath Ivy's desk in her office and is soon taken hostage by Lex's Lexinators, but frees herself after King Shark arrives. Taking refuge in the meeting room, Lex demands over the intercom that Volcana be surrendered over to him, so Nora has Captain Cold put her in the LOD panic room, which didn't exist.

Eventually, after Lex releases poison gas through the vents, Nora and the team locate Volcana wearing a gas mask in a supply locker containing flammable items inside it. Getting an idea, Nora uses the flammable items and Volcana to ignite it creating a big enough explosion to break the barrier surrounding the LOD building.

However, the explosion allows Lex to use his Space Lex Earth Saver to increase the ozone layer surrounding the Earth, creating an apocalyptic world.

"Killer's Block"[]

Volcana is part of the crowd escaping from the Legion of Doom before a giant laser shot by Ivy destroys it.
