The Jons

The Jons are a group of men working for Lex Luthor as his PR agents.

Biography[]

Season 4[]

"The First Person to Come Back From a Business Conference Without Chlamydia"[]

The Jons give Lex a makeover as he answers Kent Clark's question, but Kent corrects Lex, asking who his assistants are. They answer that they're Lex's PR team, all of whom are named Jon with no "h". Kent then asks about his keynote speech, which he brushes off, and when asked about Ivy, the Jons decline for Lex to answer it, but he answers it anyway.

Later, the Jons follow Lex as he talks to Ivy about Steppenwolf. Even later, Lex prevents Ivy from drinking alcohol and instead has one of the Jons serve her a cup of tea.

Standing beside Lex and Ivy, the Jons watch as Lex flubs his keynote speech after the audience focuses more on Ivy than him, making him burst his calves. The Jons then carry Lex away. He ends the convention by opening up the dome ceiling and creating a vacuum, and they are later seen walking beside him as he walks with Talia.

"Getting Ice Dick, Don't Wait Up"[]

The day after MalCon, Lex greets Ivy at the Legion of Doom, congratulating Ivy for making a great impression on the Moon, and announces he's gifting her his PR team, the Jons. Although reluctant to accept them, they force their way into her comfort zone, and one of them mimics a phone with "delusion" on the other line, and she needs to pick it up.

Afterward, the Jons crash Ivy's meeting with her mentees, Tefé, Terra, and Volcana, to lead her back to her office, where they inform her she's a PR disaster. However, Ivy claims she's received presents from various villains. To the Jons, it's not enough, and one of them remarks on her last social media post in 2017 that she wants a bagel, which was for a free bagel contest, but never won. Dismissing the Jons in favor of devoting her time and energy toward her mentees, the Jons argue that she could have three billion people under her influence instead of three people.

From there, Ivy performs a photo shoot with the Jons, who sing praises for her, but become self-conscious about it all; however, the Jons claim that data and statistics disprove her thoughts.

Eventually, Ivy walks with the Jons, and they inform her of her boost in approval on social media, and the book they ghostwritten for her was a major hit. As Ivy signs the books, Frank enters her office, telling her he was gone for three days because he was helping his sick sister Sally. The Jons give him an apathetic sympathy for his sister and offer him a signed copy of Ivy's book, which she misspells Sally as Zazzy. This upsets Frank as two of the Jons drag her out of her office while he's complaining about how Ivy has changed.

"Metamorphosis"[]

Ivy learns that the Jons sent out a social media post without her consent. When she confronts them about it at the LOD meeting room, they reveal there's a fifth one of them, and one of them spawns a sixth. This creeps Ivy out, and the newly born sixth Jon informs her of her schedule, where one of them was a beauty pageant in her honor. However, Ivy rejects this, and it doesn't sit right with the Jons, who post a couple of mean posts about her in retaliation. Because of this, Ivy enlists the help from her mentees to take down the Jons, and Ivy backtracks her rejection of the beauty pageant to the Jons' delight.

However, on the night of the pageant, Ivy crashes it by speaking disparagingly about it, causing the Jons to merge into one Giant Jon, who is defeated thanks to the combined effort of the Natural Disasters.

"Il Buffone"[]

Nora briefly mentions the Jons in her conversation with Lex, telling him that she killed them in a giant explosion.
