Tefé Holland

Tefé Holland is a minor character in the Harley Quinn animated series. Tefé is the spiritual child of Swamp Thing, a member of the Legion of Doom and one of Poison Ivy's mentees.

Tefé has access to both the Green, enabling control over plant life, and the Red, enabling control over animal life.

Appearance[]

They have short and untamed white hair. Their eyes are blue and they sport a piercing on their nose. Thick eyebrows frame their face and they maintain an apathetic expression. They were born with a birthmark in the shape of a vine on their right arm, inherited from their father, the Swamp Thing.

Their attire is casual and unassuming. They wear a mustard-colored blouse open over a plain white t-shirt and accessorize with a necklace of blue beads. They are also dressed in loose-fitting pants, completing their comfort and relaxation.

Biography[]

"B.I.T.C.H."[]

Tefé along with Terra was helping with the replanting of trees in Gotham as part of new Legion of Doom CEO Poison Ivy's plan to exchange all Gotham's male trees with female trees. Tefé was later sat in the back during a briefing at the Hall of Doom when Ivy revealed the "evil twist" to her plan.

"Getting Ice Dick, Don't Wait Up"[]

Tefé is introduced alongside their fellow mentees Volcana and Terra to Gordon by Nora at the LOD. They attend a meeting with their mentor, Ivy, who gifts them shirts that say "Natural Disasters" with a basketball logo in the center, which Ivy could not remove from the design template. She then has the mentees talk about their individual evil plans, and Tefé suggests repopulating the shark species around Gotham City. Ivy loves the ideas and suggests they work on combining their ideas, which then she's pulled away by her new PR team, The Jons.

That night, Gordon tries to coax Ivy's mentees to join him for drinks, but they reject him, and Gordon misgenders Tefé, which upsets them. Tefé is last seen laughing with their fellow mentees after Volcana sets Gordon's crotch on fire.

On the night of Ivy's statue unveiling, Tefé and the others approach Ivy and inform her that their plan to collaborate on a socially conscious evil plan has failed. They wanted Ivy to assist them with her guidance, but she was too caught up in the glory of her new statue unveiling. Tefé is given a signed copy of Ivy's new book as a present by one of the Jons.

"Metamorphosis"[]

Tefé and their fellow mentees meet with Ivy in the LOD underground parking lot. They make up with Ivy and agree to help her with taking down the Jons. The mentees are later seen standing outside the LOD meeting room giving her the thumbs up after she meets with the Jons.

When Harley approaches Ivy to ask her if she or any of the LOD members were involved with Nightwing's death, Ivy denies any involvement, but praises if any of her LOD members did do it. She then leaves with her mentees to do the pageant show, which Ivy crashes and poses as a cameraperson; Tefé films it all.

The enraged Jons, merge into a giant entity and Ivy allows the Natural Disasters to attack Giant Jon. Tefé uses their power to control King Shark's Children and uses them to attack Giant Jon from within.

Later, Tefé is seen standing by Ivy and their fellow mentees as Ivy talks to Talia al Ghul.

"The Most Culturally Impactful Film Franchise of All Time"[]

For the next big plan with their mentor Ivy, the Natural Disasters assist Ivy in stealing the Legion of Superheroes Time Sphere.

Eventually, the Natural Disasters steal it and have Superman and Wonder Woman try and stop them while Harley joins in to assist the superheroes.

"Killer's Block"[]

Tefé is part of the group escaping from the LOD before it is destroyed by a laser shot by Ivy.

Trivia[]

Tefé is voiced by non-binary actor Vico Ortiz, so it's no surprise Tefé is non-binary in Harley Quinn. In "Getting Ice Dick, Don't Wait Up", Jim Gordon makes a comment about Ivy's mentees being women, and Tefé replies, "We're not all women, dude."
- In the comics, the character is confirmed to be bisexual, but it is unclear if this is also true in the Harley Quinn universe.
In the comics, Tefé is is the child of Swamp Thing and his wife Abby Holland. Tefé stated out as a seed of The Green's essence called The Sprout and was later conceived and given a body through Swamp Thing possessing John Constantine and using him as a human surrogate to impregnate Abby.
