Season 3[]

In It's a Swamp Thing, when Ivy is having trouble finding Frank through the Green, she mentions Swamp Thing as someone who can help them locate him. Despite her checkered past with him, she ultimately agrees to visit him in his swamp somewhere in New Orleans with Harley and Nora.

It's at a bar called the Phoenix Corpse; the group meets John Constantine, who offers to tell them where Swamp Thing is under the condition they beat him in a drinking contest. Nora manages to do so and, the next day, heads to the swamp where he's located, contacts Ivy and Harley about this, and suggests they check the map Constantine has likely in his pocket.

When Harley and Ivy reach the swamp where Swamp Thing lives, he greets the two and offers them chai lattes.

At his cabin, Swamp Thing offers Ivy a chai latte again, but she declines and asks how Linda is. Swamp Thing says they have been divorced and goes on to explain the reason why. Nora then exits his cabin and reveals that the two had sex earlier and that they had deeply connected with each other.

Returning to his cabin, Ivy asks Nora to freeze Swamp Thing, but she doesn't know if she is up to it after having sex with him, but Ivy coaxes her to do it. However, instead of doing it, Nora enjoyed some sweet time with him, and feeling hungry, he suggested they get some beignets.

Afterward, the group waited behind a long line for a food truck that served beignets. Swamp Thing talked about the length of the line, which reflected the popularity of food. Hearing that, Nora didn't consider him her boyfriend because she wasn't looking for anything serious. The revelation devastated Swamp Thing, who goes primal and transforms the surrounding swamp to match his malevolent despair.

The group flees from Swamp Thing as the swamp he controls tries to attack them all. When Ivy proclaims that he's too "sensitive," Swamp Thing entraps the group inside a dome-shaped like his head. There, he ensnarls Nora and Harley in root vines and confronts Ivy over why they stopped being friends because she never listens to him. Ivy thought it was because of her desire to destroy all of humanity, and Swamp Thing confirms that was part of it, and the main part was having to listen to her complain for hours about humanity. It also deeply hurt him that she refused to listen to him once about his divorce from Linda, which was tearing his heart out. Swamp Thing then tells Ivy that she's incapable of understanding how it feels to lose someone important to you and that she's so selfish, but Ivy reveals she's devastated over her loss of Frank. Hearing this makes Swamp Thing forgive Ivy.

Later, Ivy asks Swamp Thing to locate Frank at his cabin, but he claims that he doesn't need to, as her fear is the only thing holding her back.

In "Another Sharkley Adventure", Swamp Thing is mentioned by Harley when she warns Ivy of the dangers of delving into the Green too much.

In "Climax at Jazzapajizza," Swamp Thing tries to help and reason with Ivy over her conflicting emotions of being either good or evil. Noting how the power from the Green can be used for either, Swamp Thing implores her to use it for good. However, Ivy argues it's to stop a billionaire playboy from bringing ruin to her city. Swamp Thing can't deny that notion and cannot convince Ivy to side with good.

In "The Horse and the Sparrow," Swamp Thing is seen in the crowd greeting "Billy Bob Thornton" as he exits their hummer car he arrived in with Harley and the others. Joker later comments on Swamp Thing and Nora being a couple as he passes by them as they take their seats in the theater. He's last seen giving a round of applause to Clayface who reveals that he was BBT all along.
