The Suicide Squad, also known as Task Force X, are a government funded team of supervillains led by Amanda Waller who are sent out to perform dangerous missions across the world in exchange for reduction in their prison terms. History[]

Season 1[]

"Being Harley Quinn"[]

After having trouble finding the right hideout for her new crew, Harley and Ivy return to Ivy's Apartment where they find Doctor Psycho and King Shark going through a package that's just arrived belonging to Harley. In it they discover a bunch of T-shirts with the Suicide Squad's name printed on the front.

When they question her about them, Harley explains that the T-shirts are from this group that keep asking her to join. It was later confirmed in "Harlivy" that Amanda Waller also sent her multiple emails, all of which she ignored. King Shark goes around putting the shirts on all of the crew, resulting in Sy Borgman mistaking them for a suicide cult after he finds them all passed out.

Season 3[]

"Harlivy"[]

While the "A-team" were out on assignment overthrowing a dictator in Central America, Amanda Waller was kidnapped by Harley after she insulted Ivy in front of her. She alerted the team, at which point Plastique came to rescue her although not before showing the new video that PR had put together showcasing the team, stating they wanted her notes on it by the end of the day. Waller got away in a helicopter but Plastique exploded herself after being defeated by Harley and Ivy.

Trivia[]

  • In the comics, Harley Quinn is a core member of the Suicide Squad along with Deadshot and Captain Boomerang.
  • Hilariously, despite being a supposedly secret organization of criminals funded by the government, the Suicide Squad appear to have their own line of merchandise and a public relations team.
  • This version of the team is a mixture of both teams from David Ayer's 2016 film and James Gunn's 2021 film.
    • The members are identical with the ones from the first movie. And the fact they're being sent to stop a dictator in Central America, a refrence to the plot of the second movie.
