Sophia is the daughter of Bethany, the older sister of Benicio as well as the stepdaughter of the Joker who she view as a father.
Appearance[]
Sophia is a young girl with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She keeps her hair in low-hanging pigtails and usually wears a pink T-shirt with a lighter pink circle on it, white shorts, light pink socks, and blue sneakers. However, in the picture, Bethany and the Joker used as their phone lock screens, she can be seen wearing a shirt of the same design but yellow instead of pink.

Sophia meeting the Joker
After the Joker was turned "sane" at the end of "The Final Joke" he started dating Sophia's mother and was eventually introduced to Sophia and Benicio. Although they were initially skeptical, he quickly won over them when he gifted them a puppy. They soon grew close, and Joker came to view them as his own, with the family reading storybooks[2] and cooking pizza together.[3]

Sophia was first seen inside Joker's head as a vision of good memories of him making pizza with her and Benicio and later when Bethany sent him a picture of them with their faces covered in sauce.

Sophia and Benicio watches the Justice League's return
She appears in full for the first time after Joker is turned back to his normal self but decides to return to Bethany and the kids regardless. She is present as the Justice League are released from the Book of Fables and looks upon it in awe.

The Joker thanked her and Benicio in his acceptance speech when he accepted the award for best couple on behalf of Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy.

Sophia is indirectly mentioned during Joker's nightmare.
She then appears with his family in a TV-sitcom-like intro entitled JOKER. Joker later mentions Benicio and Sophia when he talks to Janice, the school receptionist.
At home, she sits beside her brother and is told it's dinner time by Joker as they watch the mayoral debate between the Mayor of Gotham and Jim Gordon. During this time, the mayor dies, and after this, Joker turns off the TV and reminds them that there is no TV during dinner.
Eating at the dinner table, Bethany asked Benicio Sophia if they couldn't do the dual immersion class and what other one they would like to do.
Sophia was indirectly mentioned during a conversation between Joker and Debbie about the dual immersion program.
At the dinner table, Sophia tells her family that she learned in school that dinosaurs died out because they didn't believe in religion.
After Two-Face captures Benicio, Joker tells Bethany over the phone to bring Sophia to her sister's place and not her brother's place for safety reasons.
Later, Sophia appears at Gotham City Hall to celebrate after is elected to be the newest mayor.

The family embraces villainy
Joker gathered his family around the dinner table for a family meeting, announcing he was returning to villainy. Sophia was shocked but quickly recovered, rebutting Bethany's comment about the kids just having gotten used to the chore wheel by saying, "screw the chore wheel". She then asked Joker if he would blow up her PE teacher, and after Bethany finally got on board, the whole family joined in laughing manically as Joker asked, "Who wants to go steal some soft serve?".

Sophie threatens Harley
Armed with a butcher's knife and a meat hammer, Sophia, alongside her brother, came up behind Harley Quinn, who was beating up their mother to force her to give up Joker's location. Sophia warned her to get out, not scared by Harley's threats. However, as Harley pointed her knife at the children, Bethany relented and gave up Joker. Later, Sophia watched sadly from the window as Harley dragged the tied-up Joker away from the house.
Season 5[]
"Big Pasta Dinner"[]

Sohia attends the Big Pasta Dinner party that her father, Joker, brought her to. He assures Bruce that he got his daughter an internship in the city, and she details that it's Wayne Industries.
Afterward, Sophia enjoys the pasta dinner with Damian, Frank, and Shaun at a table separate from the adults. She tries to strike up a conversation with Damian.
Later, she discovers with the other guests that Alfred is dead, and Bruce locks the place down until his murder is found out. Bruce suspects that Harley did it as she held the murder weapon, but she, along with Ivy and Shaun, escapes after Harley switches off the light.
After everyone leaves the dining room, Bruce tells the remaining guests that Alfred isn't dead and that he is playing dead to see what it's like without him ordeal. When Bruce suggests they split up into groups, Shopia goes with Damian, who had fallen out with Bruce.
During a heart-to-heart with Bruce in his sauna, Joker mentions that Sophia told Joker that Damian feels abandoned by his father.
Afterward, Sophia listens to Harley deduce how Alfred was murdered and that Damian did it, but Bruce reveals that Alfred isn't dead. However, the appearance of Red X shocks everyone. As he fights against Harley, he blinds Sophia with one of his Red Xs, making Joker retaliate with his toy teeth.
Once everyone is freed after Bruce made it up with Dick, Sophia and the other guests are released. Soon after this, Alfred, now in his Macaroni persona, appears and reveals that he had Dick resurrected for his plan for revenge against Harley, Joker, Ivy, and Bruce.
Sophia escapes with the other young guests and Lois through one of the hidden passages in the condo.
Sometime later, it's revealed that Damian is now in a relationship with Sophia.
"Bottle Episode"[]

The Joker visits the depressed and morose Bruce in his condo to try to convince Bruce to sign Sophia's timecard paper. He later does and, to Joker's critique, chastises his signature. Joker later mentions Sophia as unwittingly being a part of manufacturing the Bat-raidia device. Bruce also blamed her for the malfunctioning glitch that caused it to override and jam all electronic devices within Metropolis.

- Despite her name always being written as "Sophia" in the show's credit as well as in the parody sitcom intro in "Joker: The Killing Vote", her name can be read as "Sofia" on the chore wheel which can be seen in Bethany's House in multiple episodes of the show.
