She is the mother of Golden Glider and Captain Cold, whom she abandoned when they were young, leading both of them to believe that she was dead. Years later, she is reunited with her daughter much to her dismay. Glider eventually got fed up with her mother's unappreciative and cruel behavior and tricked her into using the time traveling toilet in her apartment, thus making Rebecca lost in time. - Main article: Impossible Schemes, Hell Yeah!
Rebecca is revealed to have been living in the apartment in the 80's ever since Glider tricked her, where she was seen doing aerobics while watching tv, where she encountered Goldilocks, who recognize her as "Princess Rebecca" from Bane's stories. After a few hours of talking, she learns about the Anti-Life Equation and came up with a plan, which involved an ad for a dark choir member for Darksied.
During the battle between Golden Glider and Darkseid, it was revealed that Rebecca took the position and told Golden Glider she time traveled for her. Rebecca snatched the Anti-Life Equation and leapt into Fable's fairytale book, where Gus (who is revealed to be Martian Manhunter) took the book and flew into space.
During the aftermath, Kite Man and Glider believed Rebecca had done it out of love for Glider. In reality, Rebecca had obtained the Anti-Life Equation. She used it to dominate Fairytale land, transforming it into an apocalyptic wasteland and turning its citizens into decaying, Zombie-like minions. She strips Evil Fairy Godmother of her dress with a matching tiara as she commands her army to prepare for world domination.
Personality[]
- ❝ "Well I don't wanna be. Thats why I left the first time." ❞
- — Rebecca callously telling her daughter that she abandoned her and doesn't want to be her mother [src]
Rebecca is a very selfish person and uncaring of others. Happily abandoning her children after her husband's death to live her own life without a second thought. Though she was initially friendlier when interacting with others during her early years, decades spent as a prisoner in the pit embittered her and made her more callous.
She also proved to be extremely petty as well as spiteful. When in a situation she doesn't like, such as living with her daughter she never wanted to have, she can be extremely bitter about the whole thing which results in her being cruel to everyone else around her to vent her frustrations.
Rebecca’s emotional maturity is more on par with a petty and self-centered teenager rather than an adult woman, shown by her refusal to take responsibility for her own kids, having an irrational hatred for them due to the inconveniences their birth caused her, being spiteful and mean to others when angry, and her use of slang such as JBH (Just Being Honest). Though at times, as seen in a situation she doesn't like (i.e. once again living with Lisa) she can act even younger, acting like a spiteful child and throwing a fit. Even resulting in her bullying others to vent her anger.
Rebecca is also incredibly ungrateful and cruel as seen when even after Glider, Kite Man and Bane rescued her from the pit, she still continued to treat her daughter very poorly and she simply told Kite Man to get her a drink while intentionally making him feel insecure about his lack of powers. When she hates someone, she will look for any excuse to be cruel to them and say/do whatever she can to spite them, even if it has no basis.
Because she never wanted the responsibility of being a mother in the first place, she sees her children as nothing but burdens at best, or as extensions (if not the cause) of her own awful marriage at worst. She wants nothing to do with them, as shown with her treatment of Golden Glider when they reunited. She hated every minute of being a mother, both for tying her down to her husband and for the children themselves preventing her from living the life she wanted, which resulted in her never developing any love for her kids, happily abandoning them when she had the chance, and if anything, resenting them for existing, years later. She further showed her resentment towards her kids and the very idea of her being “forced” to be a mother in general by not even wanting anything to do with them as adults such as swearing in irritation upon reuniting with her daughter and breaking a laptop against a wall in frustration upon realizing she couldn't afford her own place and was stuck living with Lisa. Finding the idea of “playing mommy to some grown ass kid” unappealing, going to great lengths to avoid her daughter when she could, and being irritated at the suggestion that she would babysit her future grandchildren. She was also shown to enjoy her daughter's suffering, taking a liking to Malice for lightly bullying her and choosing to spend her "Mother-Daughter Day" with her instead.
Despite not attempting to hide her unpleasant attitude, she tends to lie to make herself look better and/or other people feel worse. She lied to Lisa that she abandoned her because she was scared of her powers, when in reality, she happily left as soon as her husband died for her own selfish reasons. When taking the Anti-Life Equation, she led Lisa to believe she took it for her sake so she wouldn't have to kill Chuck, when in reality, it was all for power.
Rebecca also proved to be power hungry and craving of recognition. All her life, she desired to be a famous singer, but when she heard about the Anti-Life Equation, she manipulated Goldilocks into telling her everything she knew so she could steal the power for herself. Under the Equations' influence, she becomes a ruthless tyrannical leader bent on destroying worlds. Rebecca may have already had a ruthless side, which is why she was imprisoned in the pit.
Another factor contributing to Rebecca's uncaring personality is her tendency to disregard the consequences of her actions and act on impulse. In addition to not caring about how she emotionally hurts her children and others around her, she does not always seem to consider the negative impacts on herself. It never occurred to her that she would have to be nice to her daughter, given the fact that she was completely dependent on her at the time. Continuing to be cruel to Lisa and bluntly telling her she doesn't want her until Lisa had had enough. She was also easily tricked into using the Time-Travel Toilet, without wondering why her daughter, whom she had been cruel to and had disowned moments ago, would tell her to use the "special bathroom" that had been blocked off. She also took the Anti-Life Equation without any concern for how it would affect her mentally, which amplified her worst traits to monstrous levels.
In the end, Rebecca is a rude, unsympathetic, vile, and conceited woman with no allegiance other than herself.

Triva[]
- Ironically, in the comics, Lisa and Leonard's (unnamed) mother would often run away from her abusive husband, but always ended up returning despite her son wishing she wouldn't.
- Though she claimed that she was only married to Leonard because she got pregnant, she had no issue abandoning her kids once her husband was dead. It is unknown whether Lawrence forced them to be together to care for their children, or if there was another reason she didn't abandon her family beforehand.
- It is unknown what she did to get imprisoned in the Pit, but Villigan asserts that anyone who would be imprisoned there is a monster that deserves it.
