"Journey to Love Part 2" (alternatively titled "Pussy(Cat) Galore!") is the second issue of the Harley Quinn spin-off comic series, Harley Quinn: The Animated Series - The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour.

Synopsis[]

ON THE ROAD TO ROMANCE (a.k.a. an ataxia-filled, Thelma and Louise-style road trip), Harley and Ivy head to Catwoman’s to ask for a massive favor (hey, Selina’s a natural born cat sitter…). Meanwhile, Commissioner Gordon, on the hunt for the chaos queen herself, crosses a line he might not be able to come back from…[2]

Plot[]

Harley and Ivy are en route to Selina's to drop off Bud and Lou.

Approaching Selina's neighborhood, Ivy feels uneasy. She suspects Commissioner Gordon has followed them and is about to intervene. Distracted, she almost runs over a couple of old ladies who castigate them. Harley is enamoured with the sight, seeing herself and Ivy decades in the future. Ivy is not so cheerful about it.

Ivy is not wrong about Gordon; he has set up a whole operation around Selina's house to catch Harley in his net.

At Selina's, Ivy finds out Harley didn't warn the catburglar of their arrival. She's pissed at Harley's lack of manners, almost as much as Selina is, finding them on her doormat.

After taming the hyenas - to Harley's astonishment - Selina allows them to enter, but the acrobat makes herself at home, infuriating the other two women even further.

Selina wants to know everything about Ivy's situation, but before Ivy can confide her fears about the relationship, Gordon and the GCPD show up.

Gordon is raging mad. He does not hesitate to use grenades and full riot gear to go after Harley. Full of remorse about her part in the situation, Ivy elects to stay behind and buy some time for the other two to escape. Harley doesn't see it that way and goes back to Ivy to help her.

Batman intervenes before Gordon can go any further. He tries to reason with the man to no avail.

Women and pets escape, but Gordon immediately launches himself after Harley and Ivy. After throwing Batman off his car, he admits he's not a good cop anymore, and continues his pursuit. Nevertheless, the happy couple still manages to leave Gotham.
