Professor Pyg was a minor character on the animated series Harley Quinn. He was a Gotham City supervillain and an insane surgeon obsessed with perfection and performed experiments to create a perfect person. He was killed by Harley Quinn on her first mission with the Bat Family.
Biography[]
Season 2[]
Professor Pyg was one of the villains sent to The Pit and was seen watching the talent show there. Once Harley caused a riot, it can be assumed that he eventually escaped the Pit and returned to Gotham.
Season 4[]
On her way to the Batcave, Harley Quinn looks at a magazine about Gotham's hottest residents at a newsstand, yelling about how one of the models got in the magazine. Professor Pyg stands next to Harley and starts talking to her about the model while looking at another, but Harley quickly leaves after realizing it is Pyg she is talking to, stating she can not be seen with him as she's supposed to be a hero now.
Later, Harley and the Bat Family are trying to solve a murder case. After Harley realizes that the murderer is targeting people from the magazine, she recalls her conversation with Professor Pyg at the newsstand that morning and realizes he is responsible. As Nightwing was featured in the magazine, she devised a plan to use him as bait to lure out the killer. During a staged photoshoot, Pyg arrives and abducts Nightwing by turning off the lights, knocking him out with a syringe, and running away with his body, forcing Harley, Batgirl, and Robin to chase after him. After Harley, Batgirl, and Robin run after Pyg and fight off his Dollotrons, Harley finds Pyg, who has Nightwing strapped to a bed and lying on his stomach. Pyg reveals his plan to create the perfect Dollotron using the body parts of the models, along with using Nightwing's butt to finish it. However, Harley hits Pyg's scalpel before he can finish cutting. She then kills Pyg by bashing his skull with her baseball bat.

- Professor Pyg's design was changed between his original cameo appearance in "There's No Place to Go But Down" and his first full debut in "Gotham's Hottest Hotties".
