- — Lex Luthor[src]
Lex Luthor is one of the main antagonists on the T.V. series, Harley Quinn and in its spin-off series, Kite Man: Hell Yeah!. He is the leader of the Legion of Doom, owner of LexCorp, and the archenemy of Superman.

As the leader of the Legion of Doom, Lex Luther made a statement on TV following Doctor Psycho openly called Wonder Woman and later his wife the c-word. Luthor stated that the Legion did not condone his statement and kicked him out.

Luthor is impressed by Poison Ivy's abilities
Luthor welcomed Harley Quinn as a contender to become the new member of the L.O.D. When privately confronted by Harley's best friend, Poison Ivy, however, Luthor revealed it was a ploy to procure Ivy, who had rejected their invitations 148 times. He gave her an ultimatum, saying he would only allow Harley to join if Ivy did as well.
At the induction banquet in the Hall of Doom, Luthor watched as Aquaman barged in and challenged Harley for stealing Atlantean jewels. Harley defeated Justice Leaguer, which swayed the Legion into accepting her as a new member. Luthor brought her onstage and said, "Welcome home, Harley."
Later, Luthor escorted Harley to an L.O.D. member who wanted to see her: Joker.

Luthor gifted Harley a set of baseball bats as an office-warming present. However, he separated Harley from her crew of King Shark, Clayface, and Dr. Psycho, and then sent them to the Legion basement with the unpowered goons.
Luthor later had Harley sit in on a Legion board meeting with other elite members, including Scarecrow, Bane, and Joker. While the other fawned over Joker's expensive plan to build a tower with his face on it, Harley started to dissect how frivolous the idea was. Luthor coolly approved of her critical eye and told Joker to flesh out his plan.
Season 2[]
"Bachelorette"[]

With Wonder Woman missing, Lex teamed up with Eris — who had mind-controlled Queen Hippolyta — to gain control of Themyscira. They intended to turn the island into a corporate spa resort and sell it to LexCorp, which would host a music festival there. Lex and Eris nearly finished the deal over video chat, but the former could only watch from afar as the Cobb Squad barged in and foiled their plan.

Luthor's presence was made known in season 3 with his big box store Mor-4-Lex, which sold mundane items like toilet paper and flower pots and villainous gear like explosives. However, he did not appear in person until the season finale.
Luthor had witnessed as Poison Ivy nearly took over and terraformed all of Gotham City and was so impressed that he shot himself (a nigh-impossible event, according to Ivy and King Shark). Tracking her down to a More-4-Lex store, he broadcasted himself on the display TVs for two communication with her. He declared he was rebuilding the Legion of Doom in Gotham and — seeing her as an ambitious wild card who could work for or against him — wanted Ivy to be its new leader. Intrigued, Ivy demanded handsome pay and absolute authority, which Luthor agreed.
Luthor ordered Ivy to assassinate Mayor Joker at the premiere of A Hard Wayne's Gonna Fall the next day to seal the deal. Luthor apparently had a problem with Joker's 0.5% tax increase for evil lairs. For personal reasons, Ivy ultimately let Joker live. When Harley asked Lex if he would be mad, Ivy quipped, "He'll probably want me even more now."
Season 4[]
"Gotham's Hottest Hotties"[]

Lex runs into Ivy on the elevator at the Hall of Doom, and while she talks about her new plans for the L.O.D., Lex fiddles with his cell phone. When Ivy suggests they should participate in a ceremonial power exchange, Lex declines as he has prior commitments on the moon. He becomes unnerved after Ivy mentions that she hopes his rocket ship isn't shaped like a penis, which Lex notes that there's a scientific reason for that.
On the Executive Floor, Lex pushes Ivy off the elevator and gives her a bit of pep talk before parting ways with her.
Once the L.O.D. members learn that Ivy is the new CEO, Metallo accuses her of sleeping with Lex to gain her new position. Snowflame then accuses Lex of bowing to the "woke mob" by hiring a skirt.

"The First Person to Come Back From a Business Conference Without Chlamydia"[]
Lex has an interview with Kent Clark and gives him a long-winded answer as he does his daily routine with the help of The Jons. However, Kent clarifies his question by asking who the Jons are, and they answer that they're his PR team and are all named Jon, without an "h" in their names. Their conversation continues about what paper Kent works for, the topic for his keynote speech, and Ivy.
Afterward, Lex gives Ivy a lanyard for the con and gushes over Steppenwolf. After he finds out, he will also attend the event. They then walk and talk about what Ivy did in Gotham City, but Lex doesn't credit her for it. Stopping at a sign listing all of the events at the con, Ivy learns that she'll be giving Lex a 45-second introduction to his keynote speech, much to Ivy's chagrin.
He later stops Ivy from drinking any alcohol to avoid damaging her throat and tries to introduce Ivy to Talia al Ghul, but they already know each other. The Jons then pull Lex aside for some other business until Steppenwolf arrives, and he, alongside others, rushes over to his side.
After some time, Lex and Talia spend time together watching two people have sex. Talia states that Ivy is becoming popular on the ground, but Lex rejects that as rubbish. Still, Talia insists it is true and claims that next year, Ivy will be the keynote speaker. Taking a sigh, Lex accuses Talia of being sexually aroused by weak men, and Talia doesn't deny it after she takes her leave.
Moments before his keynote speech, Lex pumps his calves, and Ivy asks why he does that, which Lex claims is to maintain his masculinity. After realizing Ivy had spoken at other events, Lex reads the opening speech, which is intended for Ivy to read, and, after skipping over that part, reveals his Space Lex Earth Saver. A raygun device that'd add an extra ozone layer over Earth that'd solve many of its environmental problems. Despite the warm reception to this, Lex loses his nerve, and the audience members focus more on Ivy than him. In a fit of rage, Lex accidentally bursts his calves and accuses Ivy of cozying up with Steppenwolf. Ivy confirms that she's working with him, but cannot explain the details behind it. Abruptly ending MalCon, Lex opens up the dome ceiling creating a vacuum.
Lex is last seen walking with the Jons and Talia while drinking a cola and Talia enrages him on how he handled the situation at his keynote speech.

Now with sharp cheekbones and strands of hair on his head, Lex greets and congratulates Ivy for her accomplishment on the Moon. When asked about his appearance and his meltdown on the Moon, he blamed it on his adjustments to the eagle DNA. As a present to Ivy, Lex gifts his PR team to her, the Jons.

Although not physically present, Lex's picture was briefly seen on Batgirl's conspiracy board, although he was crossed out as a possible suspect for Nightwing's murder. Later, when Harley and Ivy travel 25 years into a post-apocalyptic future, they learn that Lex is responsible for the destruction of the world and return to the current time to stop the apocalypse from happening.
"Il Buffone"[]

Lex had intended to increase the Earth's ozone layer with his Space Lex Earth Saver machine on the Moon, but it was 304 cm (ten feet approx.) too short.
Lex walks through LOD with Volcana by his side and listens to her evil plan involving volcanos. Nora interrupts this and cuts their conversation short, realizing that Lex, as the nefarious business person he is, has plans to take advantage of Volcana. Before kicking him out, Lex tells him that Ivy had killed the Jons, which shocked him.
Outside, Lex activates the LOD's metal barrier and, from the intercom, demands that Nora hand over Volcana to him. Nora refuses, so Lex tries to activate the poison vapors, but instead activates the heating. After a while, Lex turns on the poison vapors, which forces Nora to create an explosion with several flammable items to destroy the barrier. Despite Lex's fury, the explosion causes the ozone layer to expand enough for his machine to reach the Earth. So Lex has it fired off, thereby creating a dark, apocalyptic world.
On a TV broadcast, Tawny Young reports what Lex's machine has done and that he refuses to comment on it.
"Potato-Based Cloning Incident"[]

While getting UV light treatment, Ivy confronts Lex, who accuses him of changing the world to get back at Superman. However, his true goal was to allow people to live on the Moon to escape the darkened world for a fee. Ivy then tries to activate her plant powers to constrain Lex, but she's too powerless because the sun has been blocked out. Lex then states that everyone who needs the sun shall remain weak forever.
As Harley, Ivy, and her clone scale down LexCorp, Harley asks if they're going to kidnap Lex in an attempt to turn the sun back on. After Ivy and the group land on the ground, Ivy laments being unable to stop Lex without her powers. So Harley's clone suggests convincing Lex's board members to side against him, and Ivy convinces several members to do so.
At the 69th annual Gotham Celebrity Golf Pro-Am, Lex appears when Ivy tries to strike up a conversation with Clegg, who was one of his board members on his business. He forcibly joins Ivy in her golf lessons with Clegg.
Although Ivy had won Clegg's favor, which infuriated Lex, he was pleased after she accidentally killed Clegg with a golf ball. He later leans over Ivy, who had been knocked to the ground by Bane, who head-butted her and disparaged her.
Eventually, the LexCorps board votes on whether or not to vote out Lex. It was a tie until Clegg's wife, Devora Macklewaithe, gave the tie-breaking vote in favor of Ivy.
Setting off into space on a rocketship with his dog, Lex flips off Ivy.

When they try to escape via a moon truck, Lex pursues them alone, but Batgirl hacks into it and causes it to tip over into a moon crater. He's later teleported away by Steppenwolf, who he thought he was business pals with.

"Bottle Episode"[]

In the past, Lex caught and chastised Lena for ruining his train set and the LexCorp building. Lex chastised Lena and then banned her from ever playing in the trainset room again.
Back in the present, Lena seeks out Lex on her computer, citing that he was scheduled to be transferred to Striker's Island. So Lena sends the Automations to fetch him.
The automations destroy Metropolis, demanding all they encounter to reveal Lex's location, and it makes Bruce realize that's why Lena hates him. Because of her personal hatred for Lex, she hates all men.
Dragged into the Batcave by Sharon and Ivy, Lex is placed alongside a wall until he awakens and sees the destruction Lena has caused Metropolis. Still, he refuses to stop her, as she's dead to him. She leaked sensitive documents to Lois, which caused his arrest. Reversing his previous comment about not wanting to help stop Lena, Lex decides to do so after Lena's announcement as Metropolis' new ruler.
Riding in the back of the Batplane with Ivy, Lex talks briefly about the box he carried and Ivy's hair.
Later, he appears behind Harley and Ivy when they confront Lena. He briefly examines the shrunken Metropolis and reveals that the item in the box is a train car. Lex then states that Lena doesn't want to rule the city but play with his toys. However, Lena wanted revenge against Lex for always looking down upon her and prepared to use the Hyper-Ray on him. To remedy the situation, Harley uses her psychological background to help Lex and Lena reconcile with each other, but in doing so, they turn on Harley and Ivy.
"The Mess is the Point"[]

As Lena told Lex her plans with the cloaked Metropolis bottle, Lex cut her off, deduced her intentions, and complimented her for her idea. However, this light-hearted moment between them is disturbed when Harley suggests they rename Metropolis. Lex considers it to be renamed in his honor, but Lena wanted it to be named after her.
While Lex and Lena argue, Harley's group prepares to escape the bottle. Having had enough with Lex, Lena programs the ship to crash and destroy itself into Kalu to force him to apologize to her, and he has 16 minutes to do so.
Moments later, Harley's group manages to break the bottle, and Brainiac, with Ivy's help, reaches the Hyper-ray gun and shrinks Lena and Lex down to size. Now the same size as the group, Harley and Ivy knock out Lena and Lex. However, once they get restored to their original sizes, they realize the ship is on a collision course with Kalu, and Harley yells at the tiny Lena to fix it. Sadly, Lena was unconscious to do so, and Ivy and Harley tossed Lena and Lex over to the table with the toy train station, and as they ran from it, they were eaten by Frankette.
A week after this event, Lena and Lex are still seen alive inside Frankette and complain about their situation.
Personality[]
Unlike most members of the Legion of Doom, Luthor is more down-to-earth and acts with professionalism. Instead of a supervillain, he resembles more of a businessman who runs a company and is not a psychopathic serial killer such as Joker, Two-Face or Penguin. Luthor also follows serious and strict standards. After Doctor Psycho called Wonder Woman the "C-word", he immediately arranged a press conference publicly denouncing him and kicked him out of the Legion. He can also be quite persistent and stubborn, sending 148 letters to Poison Ivy to make her join the Legion. Despite his polished exterior, he has proved to be emotionally unstable, not being able to handle when he is not in control. When he was not receiving the attention he felt he deserved at MalCon, Lex, in a very child-like way, destroyed his legs and blew up his base on the moon, immediately calling off the expo. According to his sister [Lena, Lex hates the color teal and prime commercial real estate being used for curated artisanal products.
While not as openly misogynistic as some of his peers, Luthor has still proved to be sexist and has some prejudices toward women. For example, he only wanted to hire Ivy to be his CEO as a way to boost his publicity and hail himself as a forward thinker, benefitting the Legion as well as his own and LexCorp's public image. Despite using Ivy to boost himself, he is unwilling to share the spotlight with her. During MalCon, Lex only gave Ivy the responsibility of a 45-second introduction to him, wanting her to otherwise remain in the background. He also tries to undermine Ivy's achievements in her tenure in the Legion and takes credit for it himself. At the end of the day, Lex is manipulative, self-centered, and always looks out for number one.
Lex's ambition for being number one is so great, to the point of reaching a dangerous sociopathy, caring very little for any harm he can do with his actions. He would go as far as covering the sun using one of his rockets, which would cause global damage to the ecosystem and every living creature in the world, proving he'd rather sacrifice humanity than let someone else be in his place. It implies his ambition to be number one mainly stems from his hatred for Superman since he represents everything Lex is not and wishes at all costs. This is further explored in Season 4 finale, with Superman being held as a prisoner and used as an experiment so Lex could steal his powers while building his war suit that allows him to analyze those powers without any difficulty and even using the same haircut of the Kryptonian. In "Kite Man: Hell Yeah!" his obsession with Superman has proven enough that even his fellow Legion of Doom members are tired and annoyed.

In addition, he desires to use the Anti-Life Equation to kill Superman on the hero's birthday. Still, he cannot think about what the equation is potentially capable of: killing everyone.
- Immaturity: At times, he can be immature, which can be a flaw in his decision-making.
