Jor-El is a minor character of the animated series Harley Quinn and is Superman's dead father.

Season 3[]
In "Harlivy", appeared as a hologram in the Fortress of Solitude when Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy had broken into the place to hide out from Commissioner Gordon. He was appalled upon noticing they were watching a "dirty movie". Harley told him to relax, insisting his son said it was okay for them to be there, but when he suggested calling him, they both insisted that was unnecessary. He did it anyway, and his hologram disappeared when Superman appeared in his place.
Season 5[]
In "The Big Apricot", a golden statue of Jor-El is seen alongside a statue of his wife, Lara Lor-Van, at the Metropolis Superman Museum.
