James Francis Gunn, Jr. (born August 5, 1966) is an American filmmaker and actor. He voiced the character based on himself on Harley Quinn.
Gunn is most known for his work as a director, including writing and directing DC show Peacemaker (2022-) which share the same network as Harley Quinn and the movie The Suicide Squad (2021) where the character of Harley Quinn appears in the main cast. He made his directorial debut in 2006 with the the horror-comedy film Slither and is probably most well-known for his work on the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. He also wrote two live action Scooby-Doo movies from the early 2000s as well as the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead.
