Biography[]

Season 1[]

"The Line"[]

As Harley's Crew and Queen of Fables planned to steal the personal force field from S.T.A.R. Laboratories, Queen of Fables summoned Françoise Mouse from her magic storybook to help by sneaking in through the air vents for them. However, King Shark had doubts about how he would help, which angered Françoise Mouse, who would pull out a suit with weapons. And after putting them on, he pulled out a cigarette and started smoking. It ended with him throwing it at King, changing his doubts but bringing up many new questions.

Françoise Mouse with Personal Force Field

Françoise Mouse and Harley's Crew performed the heist without a hitch, with Françoise Mouse wearing the personal force field as they came out. They returned to find Queen of Fables, who had stayed behind, but returned to discover a bloody massacre where the Praxis Family Reunion was. As Harley and Fables talked, Françoise Mouse then stood right next to Clayface's shoulders. He then watched as the Three Little Pigs finished eating the Praxis Family's corpses.

Françoise Mouse Death

Françoise Mouse's final moment

After Harley and Fables go their separate ways following her brutal massacre, Françoise Mouse is bribed by Clayface and joins Harley's Crew on their heist to Kord Industries to steal a weather machine. After knocking out the two guards, he gets the crew into the room where the weather machine is located. Françoise Mouse then goes inside to see if it is safe to enter. Unfortunately, he is slighted by the lasers. As he finishes his cigarette, Françoise Mouse says "au revoir" and then dies.

A picture of him can be seen in a memorial montage during the 83rd Annual Villy Awards.[1]

Trivia[]

  • He was originally only referred to as "Cinderella's mouse" in "The Line", but was officially named "Françoise Mouse" in "The 83rd Annual Villy Awards".
  • The name "Françoise" is a girl's name of French origin, meaning "from France; free man." Françoise Mouse is shown to be French by his clothing and a "free man" as he chooses to stay with Harley's Crew after receiving a bribe, showing he’s free to do whatever he wants and is not controlled by Queen of Fables.
  • He, being French, could reference Charles Perrault from France, who wrote the story of Cinderella, which is the story that Françoise Mouse is based on.
