The Daily Planet is a newspaper business based in Metropolis. It is famous for being the only newspaper in the world that gets personal interviews from Superman himself, thanks to Lois Lane.
The online version of the Daily Planet is behind a $7.99 paywall which doesn't even include crosswords. After Lois Lane wrote an unfavorable article about her, Harley Quinn held her captive at the Daily Planet offices, trying to force her to retract her statements. However, Superman soon bust through the wall and when he brought out Robin to fight in his place, Harley and her crew simply left.
In "The First Person to Come Back From a Business Conference Without Chlamydia", Clark Kent represented the Daily Planet as a correspondent on the moon reporting on MalCon, an evil convention sponsored by Lex Luthor. He got an interview with Luthor himself, was seen looking around the convention and tried to get Poison Ivy to pose for the cover of the upcoming printing.
In "The Big Apricot" The Daily Mail offices was seen while Harley and Ivy visited Metropolis. Lois Lane later hosted the gala opening of the new Metropolis Superman Museum with Jimmy Olsen taking pictures for the news paper during the event. The gala was made an success when Harley and Ivy tried to steal one of the museum's most important items but instead ended up putting on spectacular show for the visitors as they flew through the air, avoiding the security robots, thus making it to the front cover of the next morning's Daily Planet.
