DC Comics is an American comic book company in the world. Founded in Autumn 1934 as National Comics Publications by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson. It is one of the oldest and largest comic book companies in the world. It owns by Warner Bros. Discovery. DC Comics has published titles like Batman, Joker, Nightwing, Catwoman, Bludhaven, Suicide Squad, The Outsiders, Azrael, Ragman, The Spectre, The Demon, The Question, Constantine, Deathstroke, Lobo, Creature Commandos, Black Canary, Zatanna, Birds of Prey, Swamp Thing, Preacher, Doom Patrol, Reign in Hell, Day of Vengeance, Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Doomsday Clock, Rorschach, Justice League, Justice Society of America, Justice League Dark, Injustice, WildC.A.T.s, The Grifter, Gen 13, Stormwatch and of course, Harley Quinn.
In the late 2010's, DC Comics published one-shot crossover comics with the DC Comics characters pairing up with certain Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies or Hanna-Barbera characters. Harley Quinn did paired with the Looney Tunes character, Gossamer and also in an another crossover comic, Harley along with her team, Suicide Squad teaming up with the Hanna-Barbera musical group, The Banana Splits.
DC Comics' chief rival is Marvel Comics, which it is owned by The Walt Disney Company.
