Captain Cold

Captain Cold is a supervillain and a member of the Legion of Doom. He is also the older brother of the Golden Glider.

Biography[]

Season 1[]

In "L.O.D.R.S.V.P.", Captain Cold was present at the party at Hall of Doom when the Legion was deciding between Harley Quinn and KGBeast as the potential new member. He was seen mingling with Gorilla Grodd and later with Solomon Grundy and Scarecrow. He was present during the attack by Aquaman and when Harley was announced as the new member.

In "A Seat at the Table", Captain Cold applauded when Harley and her crew were officially welcomed into the Legion of Doom. He also sat at the Legion's weekly pitch meeting, where he, along with the rest of the members, voted to approve Joker's plan to build a giant tower with his face on it before Harley interjected and questioned his plan.

Season 3[]

In "The 83rd Annual Villy Awards", Captain Cold attends the Villys and shares a table with Doctor Trap, Black Manta, and Nora Freeze.

In "The Horse and the Sparrow", Captain Cold attended the premiere of James Gunn's Thomas Wayne biopic, A Hard Wayne's Gonna Fall at the Monarch Theatre.

Season 4[]

In "Gotham's Hottest Hotties", Captain Cold sits at a table in the main room with Toyman, Man-Bat, Black Manta, Metallo, Doctor Trap, Snowflame, Solomon Grundy, Sinestro, Felix Faust, Parasite, and Gorilla Grodd.

Although Ivy announced she was the new CEO, she passed around a dossier containing her plans for a "socially conscious evil". He and the other villains there disapprove of the plan and reject Ivy as the new CEO of the L.O.D., prompting everyone to walk out on her.

Holding a meeting with the big shots in the L.O.D. from earlier that day and now including Livewire and Cheetah, Ivy asks for everyone's plans to be placed on the table. After they do that, Nora hands Ivy a flamethrower and incinerates the files. As Ivy claims they'll all follow her socially conscious evil, Nora passes around new dossiers. After Snowflake rejects Ivy's proposal, and snorts cocaine on the dossier and powers up, inspiring the others to stand up in rejection against Ivy's plan. Ivy then manipulates the plants in the room to attack the retaliators. However, after Ivy defeats Man-Bat, Grodd, Metallo, and, by default, Snowflame, he doesn't attack her.

In "B.I.T.C.H.", Captain Cold appears on Nora's dating app. He later appears in the LOD meeting room, where Ivy discusses the evil twist to her operation, Lady Trees. Captain Cold was shocked after Firefly switched seats with Volcano, and she vomited fire onto the table. Once the meeting is over, King Shark introduces himself as the new Head of IT and tries to get help setting up a baby shower, but everyone there walks out on him.

Eventually, Captain Cold attends Shark's baby shower and chats with Nora Freeze, asking her if she is responsible for it. Nora confirms it, and the two cordially introduce each other. Bane catches this and curses his warm-blooded veins.

In "Icons Only", he appears as a guest at Luxor Hotel.

In "Getting Ice Dick, Don't Wait Up", Captain Cold greets Ivy standing beside Nora's desk at the LOD and congratulates her for her accomplishment on The Moon. When Ivy checks out the basket with a pretzel shaped like a gun, she accidentally fires at Captain Cold, who lands on the floor and claims that the bullets are cookies as blood drips from his mouth.

Afterward, Captain Cold, Blue Snowman, Minister Blizzard, and Icicle have a snowball fight until their game is interrupted by Harley and Alysia. Harley beats them up, believing they were responsible for kidnapping Barbara, who later turns up and reveals that she was there helping her Mom, who left to enjoy "Ice Dick". Alysia would later leave Harley and Barbara to spend some time with the Ice Boys.

In "Metamorphosis", Cold chats with Nora, asking her if she knows if someone in the LOD has killed Nightwing, but she plays coy until Shark arrives.

That night, Cold approaches Barbara and Harley as they head toward the LOD. Cold states that he believed Harley may have killed Nightwing, considering a long con job he can respect, and groups with some other villains to break a Nightwing piñata. Cold is later taken out by Barbara when she goes on a rampage. Later, he cheers for the Joker when he announces he killed Nightwing.

In "The Most Culturally Impactful Film Franchise of All Time", Captain Cold is seen as one of the frozen people kept as trophies by the middle-aged Robin who kept trophies of superheroes and villains alike in frozen chambers.

In "Il Buffone", Cold spends time with Nora in Ivy's office, who she thought was sleeping at her desk, but as she later discovers, was just a wig. Lex's Lexinators then break into the office and hold him, Nora, and Volcana hostage until Shark arrives.

Later, they all take shelter in the meeting room, and Lex activates a barrier around the LOD building. Lex demands that Volcana be surrendered to him. Hence, Nora has Cold put Volcana in the LOD panic room, which Volcana comments doesn't exist. When Cold returns, Shark asks for stuff with Taurine in it and leaves again to fetch it.

As Shark hacks into the LOD database, Cold massages Shark's shoulders and bonds with him over their shared interest in tech.

Afterward, he makes out with Nora as Lex accidentally turns on the heating, and because of this, Cold blasts Nora with his cold gun to cool her off. However, they retreat out of the room when Lex activates the poison vapors, and they soon find Volcana inside a locker with flammable materials. They use these alongside Volcana's power to break through the barrier, allowing Lex to use his Space Lex Earth Saver machine. This creates a dark, apocalyptic world, and Cold wanted to spend it with Nora, but she elbows him in the gut, favoring looting instead.

In "Potato-Based Cloning Incident", Cold makes a brief appearance after Ivy turns off Lex's machine.
