Captain Boomerang

Captain Boomerang is a minor character of the animated series Harley Quinn. He is a thug from Australia who uses boomerangs to commit crimes and is a member of the Suicide Squad.

At some point, Captain Boomerang was recruited into the Suicide Squad by Amanda Waller.^[1]

Season 3[]

"Harlivy"[]

Captain Boomerang, while not physically present, was still seen in the promotional video with the rest of the Suicide Squad, which was showed off by Plastique to Amanda Waller, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy when Plastique came to rescue Waller after Harley had kidnapped her. It also assumed that Boomerang was part of the "A-team", who were out on assignment overthrowing a dictator in Central America and couldn’t come to save Waller.

"Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine's Day Special"[]

On Valentine’s Day, Captain Boomerang used a picture of Jason Momoa, calling himself "Jerry from Hoboken, New Jersey," to catfish Clayface into going on a date with him after meeting him online. When Clayface arrived at the site of his date, Crime Alley, he called "Jerry", still not knowing he was being catfished. "Jerry" told Clayface to meet him in the very darkest corner of Crime Alley, saying a new vegan coffee shop just opened there.

When Clayface arrives, "Jerry" reveals himself as the supervillain, Captain Boomerang. He then said how he was charmed that Clayface brought him a flower; with Clayface not understanding his words, Boomerang attacks him in an attempt to rob the shapeshifter. He managed to knock him down and reached into Clayface's pockets. He pulled out Clayface's wallet, but there were only double tickets to a Brett Goldstein one-man show for the date. This angered Boomerang, who used his boomerang in an attempt to kill him, bisecting Clayface at the waist before fleeing the scene, thinking that he had killed him.

Season 4[]

"Gotham's Hottest Hotties"[]

Captain Boomerang appears on the Bat computer when Nightwing and Robin use it, and Harley compliments Captain Boomerang for knowing his "angles". Harley then asks if they're going to kick his ass, but walks it back, stating it's Monday and he's likely out playing bingo at the senior center, citing he loves mature women.
