The Big Bad Wolf was summoned by the Queen of Fables to kill a man from the "Praxis Family Reunion", who spotted her and Harley Quinn on a heist to S.T.A.R. Laboratories as she stayed behind. At the same time, Harley's Crew and Françoise Mouse broke into the building. However, after the family saw the Wolf kill the man, Fables ordered him to kill the rest of the Praxis Family to prevent any revenge killing.
After the Wolf killed everyone except Jason Praxis, who managed to hide, the crew returned from their successful heist to discover a bloody massacre. The Wolf was seen chewing on a bloody bone, while Fables sat on a bunch of dead bodies, spoking a cigarette. She then credited the Big Bad Wolf for killing everyone.

The Wolf was later seen with Fables in the Gotham Mall, waiting for Harley's Crew to return from stealing the weather machine. The Wolf then listened as Fables talked to Harley, with her protesting that they were friends and refusing to give up the weather machine, at which point Fables began threatening to kill Harley. They were then both interrupted by Jason Praxis, who shot a bolt of lightning at their feet, knocking the Wolf, Fables, and Harley's Crew to the floor. Jason Praxis then launched another bolt of lightning at Fables' storybook, destroying her powers, which caused the Wolf to disappear.

After the Queen of Fables allied herself with the Joker and tried to kill Harley's Crew but failed, the Big Bad Wolf was summoned, this time dressed as Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother, with Clayface saying "What big eye you have", not realizing it was the Wolf until he attacks. He then chases Harley's Crew, trying to kill them, with Clayface attempting to deter the Wolf by turning into "grandfather wolf", not realizing that the Wolf is male in a woman’s dress, and is only briefly stymied by Doctor Psycho telekinetically hitting it with a bench.
Eventually, the Wolf pinned Harley down and seemingly killed her; however, King Shark quickly dispatched it. With the Wolf having had its innards eaten by King Shark, Harley wore its skin like a suit so that she could sneak up on Fables. At this point, she knocked Fables' head clean off her body with a bat.
