— KGBeast[src]

KGBeast is a minor recurring character of the Harley Quinn T.V. series. He is a supervillain and was considered for a spot on the Legion of Doom although lost it to Harley Quinn.

Appearance[]

KGBeast is a muscle-bound, pale Russian cyborg. He wears a black glove on his biological hand with metal spikes on the knuckles to make punching more effective; he wears a black sleeveless shirt made of what appears to be spandex which also goes up to and covers his head along with his torso. It has three wide red lines on his chest area, getting wider in with each one up. The head portion has two red marks up and down from each eye hole. There is no opening for any other facial orifice, although there are bumps on the side for his ears to fit into. There is no visible pupil in his right eye, although this may be the mask covering it. His other eye is wider and more round, with a red pupil and black iris. He has a cyborg arm with various hand attachments such as a middle finger, spoon, gun, and fist, which he keeps and pulls out of his grey satchel he has slung over his shoulder. There are orange tubes connected to his cybernetic arm.

Biography[]

Season 1[]

KGBeast is first seen in the pilot as an inmate at Arkham Asylum. In the cafeteria he joined in with his fellow prisoners and insisted that the Joker would not come to save Harley Quinn, although she dismissed them calling them all insane.

In "So You Need a Crew?", when he and Harley are battling for the nuclear warhead being held inside one of the cars. Harley Quinn incapacitates him after a short brawl and grabs two of three keys off his body one by one, noticing an additional keyhole to get to the warhead after using each. After Joker and his men storm the train and throw Harley out, it is unknown what happened to KGBeast between this time and his next appearance.

During "You're a Damn Good Cop, Jim Gordon", KGBeast got nominated for a spot on the Legion of Doom which was announced on "villany.evil" where he was met by much praise and support.

In "L.O.D.R.S.V.P.", he was invited to the Hall of Doom where he went up against Harley Quinn who herself had been nominated. He was rejected; as the tide tipped in Harley Quinn's favor, he exchanged his normal metal had for one with his middle finger up and raised it towards the stage before walking away.

Season 3[]

In "The 83rd Annual Villy Awards" he attended the Villys where he was seen mingling with Cock King and later Cheetah. Later in the evening, he was walking through the venue with an old lady but turned and looked when Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy started flipping the place off while shouting "Fuck you, Villys" before leaving.

In "A Thief, a Mole, an Orgy" he was shown to be a member of the Court of Owls when he attended their Wednesday night meeting. When the orgy started, he exchanged his weapons arm for a dildo.

Season 4[]

In "Icons Only" KGBeast stayed at the Lexor Hotel for villains in Las Vegas. He was seen sunbathing by the rooftop-pool beside Calendar Man and Cheetah. He later played poker with Livewire, Killer Croc and two Two-Face goons when Harley Quinn, in the alias of "Hargret", disrupted their game by jumping on their table and throwing their poker chips into the air.

In "Getting Ice Dick, Don't Wait Up" he was briefly seen at the Hall of Doom, implying he had at this point become a member despite originally losing his spot to Harley.

In "Metamorphosis" he was at the Hall of Doom celebrating Nightwing's death. He was present when Batgirl began attacking the members and later when the Joker announced himself as the killer.

In "The Most Culturally Impactful Film Franchise of All Time" he was briefly seen on the security footage from the day before as well as in a frozen state, kept as a trophy alongside many others like him by a middle-aged Robin 25 years in the future.

In "Killer's Block" KGBeast attended Lex Luthor's birthday party on the moon where he watched Lex debuting his new superman-like powers and saw his fight with Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn, cheering after Lex seemingly won.

Trivia[]

  • KGBeast is an obscure Batman villain who debuted in Batman #417 in 1988. While not well known amongst general audiences, he is one of the rare villains that Batman has real trouble defeating on his own due to KGBeast's combination of military training, arsenal of weapons and enhanced cybernetic strength.
    • Because of the collapse of the USSR, the comics later referred to him simply as “The Beast” due to the KGB organization now being defunct in both fiction and in reality, with the Harley Quinn series being the exception.
